Miselayne's Jewels was an idea that came from many years of collecting sea glass from the Salem Willows in historic, Salem Massachusetts. I would bring my dog, Rosey, there for walks and had fun looking for the different shapes, colors and textures of the sea glass. I could envision some of the pieces as beautiful jewelry.
I love to go to downtown Salem, where they have many shops that sell gorgeous stones. I love the various meanings of the stones. Growing up in Salem, I became aware of the healing properties of the stones and try to incorporate this knowledge with each piece.
I have always had a passion for jewelry. When I handcraft a piece at first I start with the wire wrap and then before I know it it has transformed into a stylish piece. I love being creative and enchancing them with beads or having the wire be uniquely wrapped and manipulated to something truly stunning.
Would you like to earn free jewelry? I can come to your home and we could have a jewelry party. Depending on the number of people and sales you could have quite a few one of a kind pieces.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or custom ordering you may have. I am also available to teach the wire wrap technique with your stone/sea glass or one of mine. Group parties can be a fun way to make your own jewelry and have a great time.
Thank you for visiting.
